Mythos connects the people, events, communities and creators around the things you love. Find an event, see who's going, join the communities around it, and stay in touch afterwards. It started with conventions and is growing into everything around them.

No. Conventions are where many fandoms gather, so they are a big part of Mythos. But you can also host a cosplay meet-up, a themed photoshoot day, a tabletop night or a local faire gathering. If it belongs to the hobbies you love, it belongs here.

Yes, and you can be more than one. Live in the beta: host events, join communities and write up your work as a Showcase on your profile. In development: photo galleries, collaborator credits, appearances at events and vendor profiles. Performers are welcome to host and share a Showcase today.

Yes. Beta members can create a community event in a few steps: what it is, when and where, and who it's for. Events made by members are labelled Community. Official means confirmed with the organiser, and Listed means gathered from public pages.

Those are general-purpose, and social feeds are built to keep you scrolling. Mythos is built for fandom and for showing up. There is no feed and there are no ads, and it knows how people, events and communities connect, so you don't rebuild the same group in five places.

By default your attendance is private to you; you can choose Friends or Public for each event. We collect only what we need to run Mythos, and we never sell your personal data.

You choose who sees your attendance, and the platform enforces blocking. The controls to block and report people on the website are still being built. There is no public feed to pile on in.

A very small team. Honestly, mostly one very determined person right now, building Mythos because we love conventions and got tired of missing the good stuff. We're doing it carefully, in the open.

The beta is free. Browsing events needs no account; saving, RSVPs and seeing who's going are for approved beta members. We're still working out any optional extras, and we'll share them well before launch.

Mythos runs in your browser and works on your phone. Native iOS and Android apps are planned, but they are not available yet.

The beta is live and invite-only. Add your email and we'll write when a place opens for you. We bring people in a small group at a time and there is no date yet.
